The Zero Waste Campaign: This initiative involves cleaning drives and awareness creation for proper waste management and reducing plastic use. The organization has successfully executed zero waste campaigns and cleaning programs at various points in Chittagong city.
The ‘Plastic Free Bangladesh Campaign’: This long-term initiative aims to stop the use of single-use plastic and promote alternatives.
- It is primarily conducted through school programs to reach the youth.
- The campaign was inaugurated on June 11, 2024, at Sher Shah School in Chittagong.
- The goal is to practically teach students at the school and college levels about the harmful effects of plastic and its alternatives, utilizing informative slide presentations and documentary videos.
In parallel, we have also conducted human chains, distributed leaflets, and held street meetings to demand a nationwide ban on polybags and raise public awareness.
